Whistleblowing Channel
2nd Haus provides this internal reporting channel under Portuguese Law No. 93/2021 of 20 December, which establishes the general regime for the protection of whistleblowers. Here you may report, confidentially and — if you wish — anonymously, breaches you have become aware of in the context of your relationship with the company.
What can be reported
You may report breaches, whether committed or attempted, as well as their concealment, in particular in the following areas:
- Money laundering and terrorist financing
- Corruption and related offences
- Public procurement
- Consumer protection
- Personal data protection and privacy
- Other breaches covered by Law No. 93/2021 or unlawful conduct related to the company’s activity
Who can report
This channel may be used by anyone who became aware of a breach within a professional relationship — current or past — with 2nd Haus, including employees, job applicants, service providers, suppliers, collaborators, agents and members of the governing bodies.
Your guarantees
- Confidentiality of your identity and of any information that could identify you.
- The option to submit the report anonymously.
- Prohibition of retaliation — you cannot be harmed for reporting in good faith.
- Handling of the report by a designated person, independently and impartially.
How we handle your report
- We acknowledge receipt of the report within 7 days.
- We inform you of the measures envisaged or taken within a maximum of 3 months.
- We keep a record of the report for 5 years.
- Access to the report is restricted to the person responsible for handling it.
External channels
Internal reporting does not preclude the use of the external channels provided for by law. For real estate mediation matters you may contact IMPIC — the Institute for Public Markets, Real Estate and Construction. You may also turn to the Public Prosecutor’s Office or the National Anti-Corruption Mechanism (MENAC).
